    hi

    hi there

i would like to know information about Linkbox 9000I.

i wanted to buy that receiver, before i buy it i would like to know how is that receiver working, is it good.i use to have dreambox 800hd and for me that receiver was hard to setup my private server, that receiver uses some kind of the cams like rqs cams and i have to edit using my pc, but i want to know about i link is it hard to setup private server, does the private server shows on the menu when you go to under like network settings, or i have to do same thing as i was doing with my dreambox,

i had nfusion hd too, and i sold that receiver because that receiver uses extra dsl modem to setup the network protocol to be able to watch the tv, and it uses different way to watch tv, on that receiver you must keep your pc working all day if you want to watch tv,

so now i'm trying to buy Linkbox 9000I,

I am looking to that one also , but make sure you buy the 9000i local as it has a ASTC tuner to pick your local HD digital net work stations . I read a very good review of it on another forum

Linkboxx 9000i local lsk 500 module

Is the Heat sinking part hard to do when you install the ls 500 module. I dont want to Brick my brand new unit.

I am going to use the IPTV for route 66 .

I am going to use the Sat tuner for True FTA Sats I am purchasing a HH motor and GeosatPro 90mm dish and a invacom Quad LNB that picks up KU Linear and Circular Sats,

And the ASTC tuner for local HD Channels

I did not think I would need the LSK500 Module, if I was using the iptv66 route ?

Any Advice out there would be welcomed

    Thanks

I purchased the Linkbox 9000i local and cannot enter userid or route66 . The LSK 500 module was not included with my purchase . I went to the linkboxusa.com site and they have this 8PSK Module available but is for Linkbox9200HD

    DVB-S2 Kit Plus

    Optional upgrade kit for 9200HD
To receive DVB-S2 Plus (8PSK) Free To Air Channel
    Blind scan function is available

    Any Help appreciated .
