    DPP44 with 1000.3

Hi, I bought the DPP44 with power inserter.

The question is, The 3 ports on the DPP44 (TO DISH), do all of them has to be connected to the 1000.2 LNB?

I was thinking about connecting only 1 port from DPP44 switch into 1000.2 LNB to power it up, then I have 5 extra ports= 2 from the 1000.2 LNB & 3 from DPP44.?
    Would this setup work?

Basically only have 1 coax running in the LNB from the Switch.

If it did work, would I be able to reach 110, 119 and 129 Sat? If when connected thru the Switch.

The intention is to connect 2 more receivers straight into the LNB and the other 3 into the switch.
My thinking, since the LNB has a internal switch built in, I was thinking I could squeeze another 3 ports from the switch DPP44.

Or I can just make life easier and install another Dish 1000.2 with another DPP44. So 2 dish's.
I needed 5 or 6 ports to connect receivers into.

You will need to hook all three ports to the switch. That will give you 4 outputs for receivers so your two dishes will work. When you hook all three outputs from the dish to the switch that will bypass the internal switch

Cool. Thanks you. Ill go that route then.

which means ill need another dish for the single tuner receivers.

Google sat switches because you just may find something like a 6x6 and that would make one dish and just use a inserter with that.

i connected everything, on the dreamlink t5, if I put power off on LNB, it wont detect anything.
If I put LNB power on, it only picks up 119 sat unless I change the disecq options and play with them, that will be the only way that it picks up the correct sat.

the power inverter is connected to the switch.

if I connect power inverter straight to 1000.2 LNB port 1, it still does the same when I connected Dreamlink T5 to port 2.

Basically it only function when the Power On setting is on the LNB setting section.

    Desiqc 1.0 119-1 110-2 and 129-3
    osc-dp power on
If you are using the dp44 switch then all three ports from the lnb head MUST be hooked to the switch and the inverter to the switch.

I have all those settings, I had to move DISEqC 1.1 settings for it to work.
I double checked the coax wiring and yea, all of them are connected correct, port 1 with port1, port 2 with port 2, etc..

basically I had to mirror the diseqc 1.1 with thatever was on diseqc 1.0
