I see NFL Network is back on dish. I was wondering if its possible to get this channel.
I am currently not getting it, just wondering if someone is and its a problem on my end or is this something in the want list. If it is then who is going to join me in getting this back as part of the channels?
Mainly the reason I have DN. :)

Have they turned it on yet, because your request is the primary reason I am waiting to subscribe to this service, I want to have the NFL channel.

It seem that all of the different IKS providers use the same servers because no one has the NFL Network up and running, I have 2 different servers running on the same receiver and they both seem to have the same problem at the same time.

Dish drops NFL Network and Red Zone...

NFL Network has never been in as many homes as the league envisioned when launching the network in 2003. Tonight, it’s in even fewer.
The NFL has announced the Dish Network dropped NFLN and NFL RedZone at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.
“This represents the first time in NFL Network’s 13-year history that one of its service providers has not continued to offer the network to its subscribers,” the league declares in the statement announcing the development. Dish Network would likely say that this represents one of the rare instances where someone has said to the NFL, “We’re not paying what you want.”
Indeed, unrealistic financial expectations have contributed to slower-than-expected proliferation of NFLN. With Dish Network pulling the plug, the league-owned broadcast operation is available in 60 million homes.
“As the only network 100% dedicated to coverage of America’s most popular sports league, NFL Network is committed to serving the millions of NFL fans by reaching fair distribution agreements with the pay-TV industry,” the league asserts, opting for a somewhat derisive reference to cable/satellite TV providers.
The NFL also has set up a web page with a message suggesting that the outage may not be a short-term arrangement.
“To avoid missing key NFL action, DISH subscribers should find a provider that carries NFL Network and NFL RedZone now — and the good news is there are plenty of choices,” the league explains. “NFL Network and NFL RedZone are available on XFINITY, Verizon FiOS, Spectrum, and Time Warner Cable. NFL Network also is available on DIRECTV, along with the chance to watch every out-of-market Sunday game live through NFL Sunday Ticket.”

Battles between content providers and cable/satellite companies aren’t uncommon. But since this is the first one the NFL has waged with a company that previously was carrying NFL Network, it’ll be interesting to see how the league handles the situation.

NFL Media and DISH Network L.L.C. today announced that the two parties have reached a new carriage agreement for NFL Network and NFL RedZone. Distribution of both networks has been restored on DISH's satellite distribution system, and both services will be added to Sling TV in time for the NFL regular season this fall.

"We are pleased to see NFL Network and NFL RedZone back on DISH," said Hans Schroeder, senior vice president, media strategy, business development and sales for the NFL. "This has been a thoughtful negotiation that resulted in a great outcome for our fans. DISH is an important distributor of NFL Network and NFL RedZone, and we are excited to expand our distribution to new fans on the fast-growing Sling TV platform."

"These networks will give DISH and Sling TV customers the inside look at a favorite American pastime as we approach the NFL season," said Warren Schlichting, DISH's executive vice president of programming.

Completion of the agreement will provide DISH subscribers nationwide with the chance to tune in just as the NFL Preseason kicks off. NFL Network will provide comprehensive coverage throughout August of all 32 training camps with Inside Training Camp Live and will deliver fans all 65 preseason games -- including a record 16 live. During the regular season, NFL Network will deliver exclusive Thursday Night Football games, popular shows such as NFL GameDay Morning, A Football Life, and TIMELINE, and the new morning show, Good Morning Football, which airs live each weekday morning from New York City. DISH customers will also have access to both networks through Watch NFL Network, available on NFL.com, the NFL app across connected TV devices, and via NFL Mobile on Windows, iOS and Android devices.

Additionally, Sling TV subscribers will have access to NFL Network and NFL RedZone, starting with the 2016 regular season. Sling TV is available across mobile phones, tablets, computers, TVs and streaming devices, offering NFL fans yet another choice for how and where to access their favorite content.

NFL content has never been more popular across the media landscape. According to the Nielsen Company, 199 million people tuned into the 2015 NFL regular season representing 78 percent of all television homes and 67 percent of potential viewers in the U.S. NFL games accounted for the top 25 and 46 of the 50 most-watched TV shows among all programming in 2015.

I don't understand why people are asking as to why they cant get movie channels. Are you serious right now?
Android boxes will get you more movies than you can sneeze at. Why wait for DN?
Porn is probably the best on android. Why have DN for porn?
What I need is DN for live sports....and that is the main reason to have DN.......end of discussion.
If i want to watch an episode of Seinfeld or any reruns or even any other ludricous television show, I can wait 1 day and download on android and watch at my leasure.
Live Sports are the real deal. Need to have all sports available!

I dont know how it works with the IKS but lets concentrate on getting sport first and foremost and go from there.

NFL is back on so lets get it back up and running.

If you need to post this as a poll issue then lets do that and see who is in agreement.
