yea, it can be glitchy.
In times when it's working thou, you should have most all channels coming. The freezing (when it's working good) is minimal.

prolly not. B3v's are same as other as far as settings and stuff. No Spot Beams thru b3v either so no worries about TPs and such.
Haven't had b3v on here in a day or two but I know it can be sparatic but there been many stretches where it works good.
Can't comment tonight thou, sorry bro

if you wanna compare dredlock, I can tune into b3v and see if the same results are seen at my end ..
Let me know and I'll move my dish and we will compare (i have motor so I don't have to get outta the lazyboy chair to move dish) :)

Bev is gonna take time to get all setup and working good your best bet would be to setup 2 dishes and use a 4x1 switch

was just giving them a chance it could have been a problem on my end i know bev is a pain to crack and if they have 20 channels up there doing good in my opinion. iv dealt with other bev servers and it was a cat and mouse.

things been doing pretty good on b3v
There are a few channels that may dissapear and come back. There are channels such as TSN that are not working on 91w but are working on 82w
No freezing with the channels that are working and there are alot working (both 91w and 82w).

djamm, when setting up for b3v, ensure your other 66 route is completely disabled or turned off.
Then try the b3v route :)

not sure what I meant. Maybe server instead of receiver, I meant.
But anyway, use what Sammy posted with your ID and Pass.
Disable the other iks66 sever, if it's enabled.
Go to channel 195 and you should have audio and video on that channel. If so, then sit on channel 524 for a minute or so.

Hi, disconnect all cables from dish, and only have sat 91 connected direct, but before disconnecting everything turn off power for
your receiver first, so you don't burn it out.

Tell us how you made out?

Not fimiliar with that box . In your settings , do you have internal and external module ? We had a similar problem when try n to aim 91 82 bird . Turned off the HD module board ( external ) and used the internal module and then was able to see Q & S

Doing some reading try n to catch up with your issue . Did you at one time pick up 91 with this dish ? Possible move just a little from wind ?

mean1
11-27-2013, 01:38 AM
Not on this bird but may need to go to known good working TP / Channel and park there , give the dish some small movement an watch TV for pic . Make sure your on port 40066 , all other settings should be the same except for port of course 40066 . We all put our dish(s) bout 6 feet from ground that way we can work on em without ripping off the shingles . Let us know . Good Luck

Remember you have to be in Canada to get 91.

thunderstruck
11-27-2013, 02:00 AM
don't move the dish. Just move the LNB by putting pressure on it. See if a little applied pressure will change the signal for the 91w
If just a small amount of pressure will get a signal then the dish may only need a very small movement.
Mark the dish with ink pen so you know exactly where it was before you start.

but Sammy is correct. If you are south of the border you won't get the signal. Well a little ways south anyway.
I saw you mention you had it before but b3v tightened up that footprint this last year past.

You will not get a signal in Florida, Bev made sure of that with the new Sat, so snowbirds cannot move there receivers for the winter for free. WE MUST MAKE THE SENIORS PAY! LMOL. Bev are just dicks.
